Clean Tones is a collection of songs and sounds recorded between 2007 and 2020. While playing in Houston bands Jody Seabody and the Whirls and Funeral Horse, Clint Rater recorded many snippets and ideas on his Tascam Digital Portastudio DP-01 and DP-008 EX. In 2020, he compiled some of the recordings, added instrumentation, and arranged them into the album "Clean Tones" ( a play on his name Clinton ). This conceptual compilation is self exploration in album form. The current musician collaborating with past versions of himself from different eras.
